Oregon Native

I was born and grew up in Lake Oswego. I went to Lake Oswego High School for two years before moving to Beaverton, OR. I finished high school at Westview High School.

After high school I did my first college years at Clackamas Community College before venturing off to Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA. I played college basketball there and earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Work

Once out of college I began to work as a Personal support worker and registered behavior technician. I worked with children with Autism and developmental disabilities in home.

Since then I have worked in several different settings with that demographic including schools, camps and athletics.

I went on to go into healthcare with the hopes of working with that population as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (it's a mouthful I know. Easier to just say sleep tech).

Hobbies

When I am not taking photos, I like to spend my time crafting. I am an avid crocheter and love to work on projects, especially for my nephews. I also enjoy staying active. I have been running and also still play basketball in a competitive women's league.

I also have a bird, a bunny and two dogs at home that I spend my time with.

Capturing Memories

My love of photography started from a young age and grew as I got older and learned the art. My father gifted me my first DSLR camera after I graduated college and that is when photography became more than just a hobby. Being able to capture special moments for my clients brings me joy.

I find photos to be a great way to have a timeline of memories to look back on. Often our memories fade with age, and as time goes on our memories are not as crisp. Having photos is a way of recalling those times and are also a way to share stories with loved ones.

My Goal

My goal is to make your photo experience as easy as possible, while also incorporating some fun. Photos do not always have to be serious and sometimes the best photos come from unposed candid moments.

Getting photos done can often be intimidating for people, and certain circumstances can increase this worry. I am happy to make accomodations to allow for an enjoyable session.
